Question Can I share content from the Twitch channel elsewhere?
Answer Yes! You can share clips, highlights, or screenshots wherever you wish. I do have a few rules / requests, however:
  • Do not share or alter the content in a way which misleads others from the actual context of what was happening or being discussed
  • Provide a prominent link back to this website and/or the Twitch stream, and encourage others to check it out
  • Do not claim the content nor the characters as your own (even if you add special effects to it or make other edits)
  • Please refrain from excessive editing. You can inject sound effects and props etc. but do not substantially alter the original content

Thank you!
Question Can I make fan art of the characters?
Answer Yes! You can make fan art of any of the characters and can share them online or even sell them. I do have a few requests / rules regarding that, however:
  • Do not claim any of the characters as your own.
  • Please give credit back to this website or to the Twitch channel on the art or its posting.
  • Do not make art of the characters in such a way that would degrade them.
  • Except for Dakota and Chad Hearts (who are evil), do not depict any of the characters doing immoral things or hurting others (unless, for example, they are fighting in self-defense against evil).
  • If you make money from the fan art, please consider giving back a little to us; financial contributions will keep us keep going and do more awesome things (which in-turn gives you more content you can turn into art!)
  • Please consider sharing what you created with us by e-mailing it to [email protected] . Also let us know if you'd like us to showcase it on stream sometime and, if you accept commissions, if you'd like us to give you a plug for that.

I have additional rules for NSFW artists who want to make NSFW art of the characters. While I do not prefer that NSFW art is made of them, I do allow it under these conditions:
  • Absolutely no NSFW content that falls under the umbrella of reluctance / non-consent or if it depicts sexism.
  • Do not "loliconify" the characters; they must look like adults (because they are all adults).
  • Only Lovinity Hearts and Reese Hearts may be made into NSFW art.
    • Chad Hearts is a womanizing / sexist character, and as such, I do not allow him to be lewded as it would be non-consent.
    • Similarly, Dakota Hearts would use NSFW as a way to strengthen her manipulation. This can also fall under non-consent, and therefore I will not allow her to be lewded either.
    • All other characters are not actually mine (Patrick); they are of regular guests who join my streams. They would not appreciate their characters being lewded.
  • Do not make NSFW art of Lovinity and Reese together as they are father/daughter.
  • Please keep it wholesome and at least somewhat vanilla. Don't lewd them just to lewd them; add some romance and intimacy into it. Or for solo art of a character, showcase their overall beauty.
  • For obvious reasons, we will not showcase NSFW art. And we ask you do not share such on this website either as it will violate the Terms of Service.

Thank you for understanding!
Question Can I make or sell merchandise of the characters or Brand?
Answer Yes, you may make and sell merchandise of the characters, though I have a few guidelines I ask you to follow:
  • Please ask for permission first if merchandising any of the characters aside from Lovinity, Reese, Dakota, or Chad Hearts, as the characters I did not mention are not mine. I need to check in with the owner of the desired character to make sure it is okay.
  • No mass-production of the merchandise; please stick to personal commission-based merchandising.
  • Do not claim the characters as your own.
  • Please be ethical; don't scam people, charge unreasonable prices (also don't charge too little; you need enough to support yourself and your talent), or make / sell merch in a way that degrades the characters.
  • For Lovinity, do not use the term "Lovinity" as this is trademarked by a separate jewelry company (therefore, you risk getting in trouble). Use the term "Lovinity Hearts". For consistency, I prefer you use the full name of the other characters as well.
  • Please don't make significant changes to the original designs of the characters without asking first.
  • I will not allow NSFW merchandise of any of the characters (fan art is as far as I'll allow in the NSFW category; please see the FAQ on that).

If you have any questions or concerns, or you'd like to share your creations (and we might promote them on-stream), please send me an e-mail at [email protected] .
Question Can I use a character in role-play?
Answer For my (Patrick's) characters… Lovinity, Reese, Dakota, and Chad Hearts… you may use these characters in role-play with a few rules / guidelines mentioned below. For all other characters (which are not mine), you may not use them in role-play under any circumstance.

If you choose to role-play as any of my characters, please abide by the following rules:
  • Do not claim the characters as your own, and link to this website on your character sheet so others know where the characters originated.
  • Do not claim what happens to them in role-play is canon to their overall character; it is only canon to your personal rendition of them.
  • Please role-play as true to the personality and backstory of the characters as you can. If you must make adjustments so it fits the rules of the role-play campaign or system, you are permitted to do so if you can reasonably maintain most of their lore, design, and personality. If you are not able to, then I request you do not use them for that particular campaign.
  • If the campaign is NSFW-focused, or if it will have NSFW scenes, then only Lovinity or Reese Hearts may be used. Do not engage in non-consent, reluctance, incest, lolicon, sexism, or any acts which would degrade them. Please try to maintain at least some intimacy and romance when doing NSFW scenes, and ensure the scene builds on their character development in some way.
  • Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions, particularly if you would like help determining different stats for the characters to use in the campaign. I'd also love to hear about any campaigns you involve the characters in and major milestones they make.

Thank you for being respectful of my characters!
Question Can I make a VTube character and join the Hearts family?
Answer We're generally restrictive of whom we let into the Hearts family. This is because we must ensure the character's lore aligns with the overall lore of the Hearts family, and that the individual acting the character is reputable.

As such, we ask first that you meet the following qualifications before requesting to join the Hearts family with a VTube character:
  • You regularly tune in to our streams and have done so for several months (at least three is our rule, but it will be more or less depending on how many times you've joined and how many times we've streamed)
  • You regularly interact in the chat with us and with other chatters; and others view you as a very respectable member of the community
  • You regularly interact on our website and have not earned any substantial (e.g. more severe than minor, and no more than one or two minor) formal warnings against your account
  • You have financially contributed to us in at least one substantial way to help support what we do (e.g. a Twitch subscription of at least one month [gifting subscriptions are also counted], or a donation equal to or greater than the value of a one-month Twitch subscription)

If you believe you meet these criteria, please give me an e-mail at [email protected] for consideration. Also present your idea of a Hearts character you would want to use including their name, gender, angel type, alignment, personality/lore, and design. Do not include Oath because Oaths are assigned by Archangel Harmony based on your character. Note that we will *not* accept Archangels or god-like beings; Harmony is the one and only Archangel of the Hearts family, and no one ranks above or the same as her.

Note that if you create a Hearts family character (or have us help you create one), *you* own the intellectual property to your own character, not us and not PDStig, LLC. Also note this is volunteer and not-for-pay (all income goes towards supporting the operations and costs involved). If you wish to earn money, consider using the character on your own streams as well (which you are fully allowed to do as you own it; but please disclose that we are not responsible for nor do we represent anything you do on your own streams).

If you are already a VTuber and would like to make appearances as your character on our shows, but not to officially join the Hearts family, we're open to collaborations. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you are interested. If you're not a VTuber, e-mail us anyway if you're interested. You don't have to be a virtual character; you can appear as yourself or just join audio-only.

Question How can I keep tabs when your schedule changes?
Answer My stream schedule changes often due to work. And I may have some last-minute cancellations or changes.

The best way to keep tabs on that is to regularly check out the schedule page on this website. I do not use the Twitch schedule because it does not offer enough flexibility (e.g. I can only schedule weekly shows and cannot do one-off re-schedules or cancellations).

I do my best to keep the schedule page on this website updated. Sometimes a cancellation is so last-minute that I am not able to let anyone know about it or even update the schedule; every now and then when work needs my attention, it needs it immediately. I apologize when that happens, but it is beyond my control. And I thank you for understanding.

Question What agency do you run through?
Answer The company PDStig, LLC, which is run by the main streamer (me, Patrick), manages the copyright and operations of this website and also manages the finances and legal matters regarding the VTube streams.

However, the Intellectual Property of the characters themselves still belong to the individuals who created them. PDStig, LLC only acts as a "manager".
Question What technologies do you use?
Answer This question will change often, so continue to check back to see what we are currently using.

Models
All models were created in VRoid Studio. All of them had at least some personal customizations done to their textures (via. GIMP) or have third-party items which were downloaded or purchased from the BOOTH store.

Voice Changing
For Dakota Hearts, I use a custom voice profile I made in Voicemod.
For Lovinity Hearts, I'm still trying to find a voice for her.
All other characters are voiced solely by the talent and do not use any voice processing.

Tracking
I use Warudo as my main tracking software for Lovinity, Dakota, and Reese Hearts.
My regular guests (Harmony and Rainbow Bridge) use vSeeFace as it is simpler / easier for them to use.

Streaming
I use OBS Studio + StreamerBot for streaming. I also incorporate overlays through Stream Elements. And I use VB-Audio Matrix to route and process audio.

Remote
I mainly use VDO Ninja or Google Voice to remote guests live onto streams.
Question What is your main selling point?
Answer Our main goal is to bring positivity, joy, and wholesomeness to others. We also want to bring some knowledge and awareness, but we do so in fun ways (for example, we bring you a bit of news through AI music or through fun debates).
Question Why are you not a consistent streamer?
Answer I can't afford to be.

Work often demands my attention in very chaotic and unexpected ways which interfere with my ability to stream (and also result in frequent cancellations and re-schedules). Should I begin to receive income from streams (which cannot happen until I become affiliate), this will become less of an issue.
Question Why don't you stream often / for much time?
Answer I can't afford to.

As mentioned in a previous question, work often demands my attention in unexpected ways. And since streaming earns me no income right now, work always gets priority. This means I don't have much time I can allocate to streaming… and any time I do allocate frequently gets changed or cancelled.

At this time, my streams average 1 to 2 hours each, and I usually only stream 1-2 times per week (but may do more if I'm lucky and have the time).
Question Why don't you stream games that often?
Answer I (Patrick) have a photosensitive seizure disorder. I must be very careful around most games as they often contain flashing lights and quickly-changing scenes. Therefore, we don't stream games that often. We focus more on talk shows.
Question Why are the wings 2D?
Answer There are only a few options for easy-to-use angel wings on the BOOTH store which can easily be used in VRoid Studio. The ones on the characters now are the ones that looked the best, but unfortunately they are 2D and not 3D. The color and texture cannot be edited (TMK). And they are also technically hair pieces, so they move with the models' heads rather than back. Nonetheless, I am grateful the option exists. They come from a wing dress set.

I plan to learn how to add 3D wings to a model manually using Unity, but it will probably take me some time.
Question Why are some streams never available on VOD?
Answer There could be several factors which contribute to me ultimately deciding not to make available a live stream on VOD. Here are a few potential reasons:
  • Too many Content IDs
It is disgustingly easy to trigger Content ID on Twitch and YouTube (even nature sounds trigger it!). If any of my live streams trigger Content ID more than a couple times or for more than several seconds, and it is not something I can appeal, I will not make the stream available VOD.
  • Low-quality stream
If I felt the overall stream was particularly bad in quality, I won't make it available on VOD. This could be because of several things:
    • Lots of technical issues
    • Poor performance by my part or my guests
    • Very low viewership
    • Bad actors in the chat (if I had chat visible or if dealing with them disrupted the stream)
  • Something was said / shown which should not have been
If I or one of my guests shows or says something on-stream which could be in violation of the platform's Community Guidelines, I won't take any chances, and the stream will not be up for VOD.

Question You have multiple VTube characters. Are you Plural?
Answer No. Each VTube character I use is an original character I made for role playing. Think of me using them as VTube characters similar to LARP (live-action role playing).

In real life, I only have one persona. And I am one person role-playing as different VTube characters (usually not at the same time).

Thank you!
